MY 2008 IN PICTURES

On NYE 2007 I decided to capture my 2008 in pictures.......... So here it is

Day 121

Posted by Michael

Birmingham > Unwinding with Jeffrey after an 11 hour stint at work. Poor Jeff was foiled in his attempts to get served by the barmaid with straight hair. No fringe benefit! For those familiar with him, observe Mr Pritchett peeking down from the rafters.....

Day 120

Posted by Michael

Birmingham > Apparently before he was even born John had a tenner at 2-1 on him being born a boy. He is also partial to a certain Kentucky bourbon earning him the tag 'Mr Jack Daniels'. Lo and behold look what nag romped home in the 5.50 at Sedgefield?!

Day 119

Birmingham > Further to Day 115 I graced the airwaves of Kerrang Radio 105.2FM at approximately 8.20am. To witness this surreal moment CLICK HERE It's bonkers! This is a genuine photo from a nearby Pub toilet

Day 118

Posted by Michael

Birmingham > Pottering around Fort Dunlop

Day 117

Posted by Michael

Birmingham > St George's (the patron saint of Asda) day celebrations

Day 116

Posted by Michael

Birmingham > Feeling elevated. Gutted I missed out on an inspired snap the same day. I was parked up at Baz's and one of his neighbours scrawled 'Don't Park Here' on my windscreen! I was too amused to take a snap - only realising when I'd scrubbed-off the first two words. Oh well.

Day 115

Posted by Michael

Birmingham > Whilst pottering around town with young Leonard on his birthday we were accosted by Kate Lawler of Kerrang Radio! In a surreal moment I was asked to conduct an interview with her whilst impersonating squeaky monkey Joe Pasquale! I kid you not! Due to be broadcast on Monday 28th at around 8.30am!

Day 114

Posted by Michael

Birmingham > Power

Day 113

Posted by Michael

Reading > Watching The Mighty Boosh on my iPod Touch on the train. No need to adjust the tracking

Day 112

Posted by Michael

Horsham > More or less Than expected

Day 111

Posted by Michael

Birmingham > I like to think of this as a robot pigeon

Day 110

Posted by Michael

Coventry > Encountered this in IKEA. Reference has been made to Jeff elsewhere. His name comes from (J)ug (E)ared (F)ool. What's F'n missing? You've answered your own question

Day 109

Posted by Michael

Birmingham > 133 Euros <(c) The Mighty Boosh> for a 3 Euro stake can't be bad. At the dog track. Hounded all evening? You bet

Day 108

Posted by Michael

Birmingham > In the playground at our Hollie's school. Random cowboy boots in the corner, to boot!

Day 107

Posted by Michael

Birmingham > Takin' Care of Business. Q&A

Day 106

Posted by Michael

Birmingham > There's something photogenic about skips. And how come everything in a skip looks like it belongs there; we get nothing else in life so right

Day 105

Posted by Michael

Birmingham > Walking past a closed Llloyds TSB I thought this would make a good photo. So I was half right

Day 104

Posted by Michael

Curdworth > A spot of Sunday lunch. I would have snapped the barmaid but this is a family-friendly site and her outfit was more revealing than Jordan's diary

Day 103

Posted by Michael

Birmingham > Whilst waiting for my piece of haddock to be cooked

Day 102

Posted by Michael

Birmingham > I don't usually do requests but Miss C was determined to appear on the site so her wish was granted. People told me I was mad to employ a Swedish cleaner but she's cheap, good with a duster and spends weekends hanging round IKEA so is good value. It's just her drink problem that worries me - a young Judy Finnegan when it comes to wine.....
